Nayan and Vaishali are paper cut artists based in India who through their miniature paper art create different species of birds to bring about awareness and protect these tiny creatures. They believe people will understand the significance of preserving birds when they see them in different mediums of art. First a rough sketch of the bird is drawn on paper and different layers are traced from the sketch on 200 GSM watercolour paper.
